At Mobile Attendant Care Service (MACS), we provide responsive drop-in and call-in disability supports across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, helping people with physical disabilities to live comfortably in their own homes.
We're looking for an organised, proactive and calm problem-solver to join our Operations Team as a Weekend Service Support Officer.

About the Role
Working from our Kedron headquarters, you'll be responsible for supporting the smooth operation of our weekend service. You'll coordinate staffing, assist with operational issues and ensure our support teams have everything they need to deliver exceptional service.
This position is rostered to work every second weekend (Saturday and Sunday), from 8.00am to 5.30pm.
There may also be opportunities (and occasional requirements) to provide planned coverage during weekdays between 3:00pm-11:00pm.
This is a part-time position offered as an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.
Your Responsibilities
- Coordinate weekend shift fill and assist with delivery of MACS' call-in support service.
- Liaise with support workers to confirm attendance and resolve last-minute changes.
- Liaise with support workers, clients and families regarding service delivery.
- Coordinate operational issues including vehicle breakdowns, flat batteries, accidents and other unexpected events.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to operational enquiries.
- Complete data entry and maintain accurate operational records.
- Review weekend shift notes and escalate risks or follow-up actions.
- Complete comprehensive weekend handover notes for the weekday leadership team.
- Support Team Leaders with timesheet checking and roster administration.
- Pre-fill roster templates for your allocated region.
- Assisting with onboarding administration for new staff where required.
- Maintain office presentation and cleanliness.
- Monitor social media and identify opportunities where MACS may be able to assist.
- Assist with event planning, expos and community engagement activities.
- Support reporting, administration and continuous improvement projects.
- Undertake other operational duties as directed by the General Manager or Service Delivery Manager.

- Hold a current Driver Licence and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
Experience in disability services, rostering or service coordination is essential.
