Assist qualified technicians with the inspection, maintenance, repair and overhaul of heavy equipment and machinery.

Learn to diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical faults while developing strong technical skills.

Safely operate workshop tools, equipment and lifting devices while maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

Successfully complete your apprenticeship training, attend required trade school and maintain training records.

Work across different service areas and participate in on-the-job training to build broad industry experience.

Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement in everything you do.

Enrolled in, or committed to completing, a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology.

A genuine interest in mechanical equipment, heavy machinery, and developing a long-term trade career.

Strong literacy, numeracy, and basic computer skills, with the ability to complete training and workplace documentation.

Demonstrated ability to safely use hand tools and follow workplace safety procedures.

Willingness to learn new technical skills through structured training, on-the-job experience, and trade school attendance.

Reliable, motivated, and team-oriented, with a positive attitude and commitment to personal and professional development.
