Young Academics Early Learning Centre is a leading and reputable provider with more than 45 centres across New South Wales. We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Trainee to join our Schofields team.
About the Role
Kick-start your career in early childhood education with the opportunity to work, learn and gain your qualification at the same time.
As an Early Childhood Trainee, you will gain practical, hands-on experience while completing your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. Supported by experienced educators, you will help create safe, engaging and inclusive learning environments where children can learn, develop and thrive.
This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time role – Monday to Friday, with allocated study time to support you in completing your qualification.
Responsibilities
Work alongside experienced educators to provide high-quality education and care.
Assist with educational programs and engaging learning experiences for children.
Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and your team.
Support safe, inclusive and engaging learning environments.
Complete your study and training requirements and apply your learning in the workplace.
Embed child safety and safeguarding practices into your everyday work.
About You
A genuine interest in starting a career in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Enrolled or willing to enrol in an ACECQA-approved Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
A positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn and receive feedback.
Ability to work collaboratively and follow the guidance of experienced educators.
Current NSW Employee Working with Children Check.
Current Food Handler Basics Training Certificate.
