Salary: $80,000 base + $10,000 travel allowance
About The Role
Join Cater Care as a Relief Chef Manager and bring your culinary expertise and leadership skills to a variety of sites across Victoria.
Supporting locations across Aged Care, Education, Hospitals, Business & Industry, Residential Facilities and Youth Justice Centres, you'll step into different kitchens, support teams, maintain high food standards and ensure smooth daily operations.
This is a unique opportunity to enjoy the stability of a full-time role while experiencing the variety of working across different locations, teams and catering environments. Regular travel and overnight stays across regional Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne are required.

Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Lead kitchen operations across multiple Cater Care sites throughout Victoria
- Prepare high-quality meals, including texture-modified foods
- Manage food production, labour resources and kitchen performance
- Maintain food safety, compliance and quality standards
- Support and develop kitchen teams to deliver exceptional service
Skills and Experiences:
About You
- Experienced Chef Manager or kitchen leader with strong operational skills
- Adaptable and confident working across fast-paced, multi-site environments
- Comfortable balancing hands-on cooking with kitchen operations and cost control
- Experience in aged care catering, texture-modified meals or multi-site catering is highly regarded
- Strong communication, leadership and computer skills with a focus on quality service
What You'll Need
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
- Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Ability to obtain a Working With Children Check and National Police Check
- Flexibility to travel and work across different locations and sectors
