Position Overview
The Advertising Specialist role is a specialist-level position critical to the development, execution, and optimisation of integrated advertising strategies across multiple digital and traditional platforms. The role requires a high level of technical expertise in performance-based advertising, audience targeting, and conversion optimisation to support student acquisition objectives.
This position has been created due to increased demand for data-driven advertising strategy and expansion of international student recruitment channels.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage end-to-end advertising campaigns aligned with student recruitment targets
- Lead performance-based digital advertising strategies across Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram), and programmatic platforms
- Conduct advanced market segmentation and audience targeting to improve lead quality and conversion rates
- Analyse campaign performance metrics including CPA, CTR, ROAS, and conversion funnels, and implement optimisation strategies
- Develop and refine advertising content, messaging frameworks, and campaign creatives aligned with brand positioning
- Manage advertising budgets and ensure cost-effective allocation across multiple channels
- Collaborate with senior management, admissions, and marketing teams to align advertising strategy with enrolment targets
- Conduct competitor and market analysis within the education and CRICOS sector
- Ensure compliance with branding, regulatory, and advertising standards applicable to education providers
- Continuously test, measure, and improve campaign effectiveness using analytics tools and A/B testing methodologies
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Marketing, Business, or a related discipline
- Minimum 2–3 years of demonstrated experience in advertising, digital campaign management, or performance marketing roles
- Strong hands-on expertise in Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and marketing automation tools
- Proven ability to manage advertising campaigns with measurable ROI outcomes
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and optimise campaigns accordingly
- High-level communication, copywriting, and creative development skills
- Experience working within education, recruitment, or CRICOS-registered institutions is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple campaigns under tight deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to business growth through advertising performance
