Due to continuous business growth and operational expansion, we are seeking a dedicated and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join our dynamic team.
Role Overview
As a Supply Chain Analyst at GRA TRANSPORT PTY. LTD., you will play a critical role in evaluating, optimizing, and streamlining our end-to-end transport and logistics operations. You will analyze supply chain workflows, assess transport network performance, monitor vendor deliverables, and implement data-driven strategies to enhance operational efficiency and minimize cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze end-to-end supply chain processes and transport logistics data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across freight operations, delivery schedules, vehicle utilization, and workflows.
- Develop and maintain quantitative supply chain forecasting models to align transport capacity with customer demand trends.
- Evaluate carrier performance, freight rates, and vendor service-level agreements (SLAs) to support contract negotiations and vendor selection.
- Standardize transport operational procedures and monitor freight and containers movements to optimize turnaround times and service efficiency across transport operations.
- Conduct route optimization studies and fleet distribution analysis to improve transit times and lower fuel/operational expenditures.
- Collaborate closely with dispatch, drivers, customers, subcontrators and administrative departments to streamline operational handovers and workflow integration.
- Prepare comprehensive analytical reports and present data-backed strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain network using industry-standard analytical software and ERP platforms.
- Ensure all supply chain and transport operational workflows comply with Australian transport safety standards and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) regulations.
Requirements & Qualifications
● Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
● Minimum 1–2 years of proven experience in supply chain, operations, freight, or transport network analysis.
● Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and quantitative modeling skills.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
