This casual opportunity requires availability to take on personal training clients during the week and weekend, including early morning and evening.
Why you’ll love this role and what you’ll do:
As a Personal Trainer, you will deliver safe, effective, and varied training sessions tailored to individual needs. Your aim is to minimise the risk of injury while maximising client results and satisfaction. You'll also be responsible for maintaining a clean, welcoming environment and proactively supporting members in their fitness journey. You’ll:
- deliver safe, effective and varied personal training sessions at Ivanhoe Aquatic Centre and Olympic leisure Centre.
- minimise the risk of injury whilst maximising results.
- be available to take on clients during the week and weekend, including early morning and evening.
- be proactive in managing and growing your clientele.
You’ll be working with like-minded colleagues to serve Banyule Leisure members and the wider Banyule community, working at a great facility with friendly members.
What you’ll bring/what we are looking for:
- A current registration with Physical Activity Australia or AusActive.
- Certificate III & IV in Fitness as a minimum.
- A sound knowledge of biomechanical techniques, first aid, resuscitation and public safety requirements.
- Strong customer service focus and ability to perform at a high standard of service provision when dealing with people in a consistent, prompt, respectful, positive and professional manner.

- Casual opportunity – build your PT clientele from internal expression of interests and generate your own leads.

Mandatory Qualifications:
- CPR certificate
- Fitness Registration with either AusActive or Physical Activity Australia
- Current Level 2 First Aid
Pre employment checks:
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check

- Working with children check
