We're looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to help ensure every product that reaches our venues meets the highest standards of quality, food safety and compliance. Sitting within our Supply Chain team, you'll work closely with suppliers, Operations and venue teams to make sure our products are safe, consistent and ready to deliver the Yo-Chi experience our customers know and love.
This is a hands on role that blends technical QA expertise with practical operational thinking. If you're passionate about food safety, enjoy building strong supplier relationships and love solving problems before they become bigger issues, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll do:
- Lead product quality, food safety and regulatory compliance across the business
- Manage product specifications, ingredient, allergen, nutritional and labelling information
- Ensure suppliers and products meet Australian food safety, legal and Yo-Chi brand standards
- Lead supplier approvals, audits, documentation, non-conformances and corrective actions
- Support product development through testing, trials, shelf-life reviews and new product launches
- Investigate product complaints, food safety incidents and quality issues using root cause analysis
- Maintain food safety systems, risk assessments, recall procedures and audit readiness
- Partner with Operations and venue teams to ensure best practice in product storage, handling and preparation
- Develop practical QA processes, tools and training that support our venue teams
- Monitor quality trends, supplier performance, customer feedback and waste to identify opportunities for improvement
- Provide reporting and recommendations that support informed decision making across the Supply Chain team
What we're looking for:
- Experience in Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Compliance, Food Technology or Supplier Quality
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, allergen management, Australian food regulations and food labelling requirements
- Experience managing supplier quality systems, product specifications and compliance documentation
- Proven ability to investigate food safety incidents, customer complaints and product quality issues
- Experience with supplier approvals, auditing and corrective action management
- Hospitality, QSR, retail or multi site operational experience will be highly regarded
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across suppliers, operations and leadership teams
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and problem solving skills
- A collaborative, proactive mindset and willingness to get stuck in
