Position Summary
Westside Meat Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Warehouse Administrator to coordinate the administrative aspects of its chilled, frozen and finished-product storage and distribution operations. The successful applicant will maintain warehouse records, administer stock movements and coordinate with production, inventory, transport and dispatch personnel.
Key Duties
· Maintain accurate warehouse, pallet and product-location records.
· Coordinate the receipt, storage and dispatch of meat products and operational supplies.
· Record and monitor stock movements into and out of chilled and frozen storage.
· Maintain product-identification, batch and traceability records.
· Monitor warehouse capacity and advise relevant personnel of storage requirements.
· Coordinate loading and dispatch schedules with warehouse and transport personnel.
· Prepare and verify warehouse and dispatch documentation.
· Reconcile physical stock against electronic warehouse and inventory records.
· Investigate and report warehouse or stock discrepancies.
· Record damaged, rejected, expired or quarantined products.
· Liaise with production, stock control, customer orders and transport personnel.
· Prepare warehouse activity, capacity and inventory reports.
· Comply with cold-chain, food-safety, workplace health and safety and company procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have:
· A relevant AQF Certificate II or III, or an equivalent qualification; or at least one year of relevant warehouse administration, logistics or distribution experience.
· Experience using warehouse or inventory-management systems.
· An understanding of stock movements, warehouse documentation and dispatch processes.
· Strong organisational and recordkeeping skills.
· Sound computer and spreadsheet skills.
· Good communication and coordination abilities.
· The ability to work accurately in a temperature-controlled processing and distribution environment.
· Experience in food production, meat processing, cold storage or regulated warehousing is desirable.
