Chef/cook
We are a fast paced café located in Everton Hills, Brisbane North looking for an experienced Breakfast Cook/Kitchen hand to join our team. If you posses a passion for local produce, an eye for attention to detail we would love to hear from you. Reporting to the production supervisor your duties/responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
- follow recipes and presentation specifications
- assisting chef with basic food prep
- maintain a clean orderly work area
- control incoming goods and stock rotation
- maintain food safety standards
- operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- breakfast/lunch café service skills
- ability to remain calm under pressure
- willingness to function as part of a hard-working and fun-loving team
- breaks and staff meals included
- consecutive days off
Experience as a Cook / Kitchenhand is a must, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years kitchen experience.
Must be available Friday to Tuesday between 6.00am - 2.00pm.
Salary to be negotiated according to experience.
