Role: Senior Specialist - Data Engineering

Job Description:
We are seeking someone who can lead and manage comprehensive Snowflake migration projects ensuring seamless integration optimization and governance aligned with enterprise cloud strategies
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead Snowflake migration initiatives from planning through execution focusing on modernizing legacy data warehouses
Design schemas and data ingestion pipelines optimized for performance and scalability
Develop semantic layers that facilitate self service analytics and improve data accessibility for business users
Manage integration and optimization of Snowflake with BI tools like Power BI and other enterprise data services
Implement advanced Snowflake capabilities such as data sharing marketplace utilization and Snowpark development
Apply modern engineering methodologies such as CI/ CD automated testing and infrastructure as code for Snowflake deployments
Collaborate closely with cloud architecture teams to ensure alignment with broader cloud strategies across AWS
Utilize dbt for modular SQL development including macros testing documentation and project structuring
Optimize Snowflake performance through query tuning warehouse management and costefficiency best practices
Implement and enforce data quality governance and security policies with automated testing in dbt
Engage with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements provide technical leadership and deliver impactful solutions
Awareness of SAP ecosystem is plus
Conduct architectural and code reviews of deliverables to ensure they adhere to performance governance and best practice standards
Stay updated with complementary technologies like AWS Glue to enhance data integration workflows
