We are currently seeking a Casual Chef to join our kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and cooking of Japanese dishes
- Meat marination, portioning, and preparation
- Cooking hot kitchen menu items such as fried chicken, noodles, and soups
- Maintaining food quality and presentation standards
- Ensuring food safety and hygiene compliance
- Assisting with stock control and inventory management
- Supervising kitchen hands and junior staff when required
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
Requirements
- Relevant experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
