The Role:
With approximately 180 employees and a strong pipeline of work, we are continuing to grow and are seeking a hands-on People & Culture Generalist to join our Thebarton based team.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a practical, delivery-focused professional to provide exceptional support to both office based and project teams across the business.
You will play a key role in keeping HR operations, systems, and processes running smoothly while providing day-to-day support to leaders and employees. The role provides strong exposure across the full employee lifecycle, with a focus on HR administration, HRIS support, recruitment, and employee documentation within a fast-paced environment.
You will work alongside and be supported by a team of experienced P&C professionals, united by Guidera O’Connor’s five guiding principles: Care, Integrity, Passion, Respect, and Future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide practical HR advice to managers across office and project teams
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment across technical, project, and corporate roles
- Manage processes across the employee life cycle across a multi-state workforce
- Support employee relations matters, including performance and workplace concerns
- Maintain accurate HR systems, employee records, and reporting
- Assist with performance review processes and engagement initiatives
- Support workforce planning aligned to project needs and timelines
- Contribute to HR projects, process improvements, and policy updates
- Build strong relationships with teams across different locations and work environments
- A genuine interest in developing into a broader HR / People & Culture role
