Berkeley Vale Public School OOSH is a community-based, not-for-profit Before and After School Care and Vacation Care service located on the beautiful grounds of Berkeley Vale Public School.
We are seeking an experienced Casual OOSH Educator to join our supportive team. The successful applicant will be passionate about working with children, creating engaging experiences, and contributing to a positive and inclusive environment.
Working alongside a dedicated team and supportive P&C Management Committee, you will assist in providing high-quality care for school-aged children before school, after school and during Vacation Care programs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and engaging children in a safe and supportive environment
- Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Facilitating engaging activities and experiences
- Supporting children's wellbeing, learning and development
- Following child safe practices, policies and procedures
- Supporting children with diverse needs and abilities
Essential requirements:
- Current NSW Working With Children Check
- Experience working with school-aged children
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability, flexibility and a positive attitude
