We're growing and are looking for an experienced construction professional who enjoys working with architects, solving technical challenges and delivering exceptional project outcomes.
About the Role
As a Senior Architectural Specification Consultant, you'll become a trusted extension of our clients' design teams.
Working with leading architectural practices across Australia, the UK and the Middle East, you'll prepare architectural specifications and finishes schedules, coordinate technical documentation and guide project teams through the specification process from concept design through to construction documentation.
Every day is different. You'll work across a wide variety of sectors while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality architectural specifications.
- Develop and coordinate finishes schedules.
- Review drawings and coordinate project documentation.
- Work directly with architects, designers and project teams.
- Provide technical advice on building materials and construction systems.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with our clients.
- Support the ongoing adoption of Earlymark's innovative SpecSuite platform.
About You
You may currently be an:
- Architect
- Engineer
- Design Manager
- Project Manager
- Architectural Technician
- Specification Writer
- Or another experienced construction professional with strong technical documentation skills.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience within the design and construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and building systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A collaborative, client-focused approach.
Previous specification writing experience is highly regarded, but we're equally interested in experienced construction professionals who have a strong technical understanding of buildings and a willingness to learn.
