About the Role
As Cloud Architect, you will provide architectural leadership across Hewitt’s cloud, infrastructure, identity, application and data environments. Reporting to the Infrastructure and Security Manager, you will be the senior technical authority responsible for designing secure, scalable and resilient technology solutions that support business growth. Working closely with stakeholders, vendors, MSPs and project teams, you will guide technology roadmaps, integration strategies and modernisation initiatives. This role is instrumental in ensuring enterprise systems, including ERP platforms, are effectively integrated into the broader technology ecosystem while maintaining strong security and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain cloud, infrastructure, application, identity and data architecture standards and roadmaps.
- Design secure, scalable and resilient solutions across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environments.
- Lead the architecture and governance of integrations between ERP, business systems, cloud platforms and third-party applications.
- Establish and enforce security, governance and compliance standards aligned with organisational and cybersecurity requirements.
- Provide architectural guidance to stakeholders, vendors and project teams while driving technology modernisation initiatives.
About You
You are a strategic and hands-on technology leader with deep expertise in cloud architecture, enterprise integration and modern workplace technologies. You have a strong track record of designing and governing enterprise-scale solutions that balance business outcomes, operational efficiency and security. Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, you can translate complex requirements into practical architectural solutions. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy influencing technology direction through strong governance, planning and communication skills.
You Will Bring

Proven experience as a Cloud Architect, Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect or senior cloud infrastructure professional.
- Strong expertise across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and enterprise cloud platforms, with sound knowledge of security, networking and governance.
- Experience designing enterprise integrations using APIs, middleware, identity federation, automation and data exchange technologies.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and documentation skills, with exposure to ERP environments, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, AI technologies or manufacturing and supply chain operations.
- Microsoft Azure certifications and relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
