About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Chef/Cook who has strong knowledge of North Indian and Indo-Chinese cuisine, with South Indian cuisine experience highly preferred. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining consistency, hygiene, and kitchen efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of North Indian, Indo-Chinese, and South Indian dishes.
* Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
* Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Assist with menu development and seasonal specials.
* Monitor stock levels and minimise food wastage.
* Work efficiently during busy service periods.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment.
* Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a commercial kitchen.
* Strong experience in North Indian and Indo-Chinese cuisine.
* Experience in South Indian cuisine (preferred).
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
* Positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills.
* Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
