Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the `Courts Group'.

The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The MCV determines in excess of 200,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, dealing with over 90 percent of all adult cases that come before Victorian courts each year.

About the Role
Join a purpose-driven team supporting individuals with complex needs to achieve stability, recovery, and positive change.
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Case Manager to deliver high-quality, person-centred support to participants in the Court Integrated Services Program (CISP). You will provide case management support to individuals participating in the CISP program who present with a range of complex needs, including mental illness and/or cognitive impairment, alcohol and other substance use issues, homelessness, family violence, and/or limited social supports, to support recovery and stabilisation. This role also delivers relief support across courts within the Warrnambool Barwon South Western region and travel opportunities to support Portland.
You will provide advanced, holistic case management, working collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to develop and implement tailored support plans that promote recovery and reduce risk.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver advanced case management using a strengths-based, evidence-informed approach
- Build strong, trusting relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Conduct assessments and develop person-centred support and treatment plans
- Identify and manage risk to clients and others
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation
- Contribute to service quality, continuous improvement, and positive client outcomes
About You
You are a skilled and empathetic professional with experience supporting clients with complex needs. You will bring:
- Tertiary qualification (minimum Diploma level; Degree highly desirable) relevant to case management with forensic clients, such as social work, psychology, welfare, alcohol and other drug (AOD), or a related field, and/or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience or capability in case management of clients with complex needs, with strong knowledge and/or experience in at least one of the following areas: mental health, acquired brain injury, disability, alcohol and substance use, family violence, or homelessness (highly desirable).
- Detailed knowledge of the mental health and/or disability service system, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Sound understanding of evidence-informed practice models and frameworks for working with clients experiencing complex needs, including family violence, disability, mental health, and/or AOD.
- Excellent case formulation and written communication skills.
