Your Position in Our Team
In this role, you are responsible for developing, implementing and realising commercial growth in the Australian region. You identify new market opportunities, build long-term customer relationships and strengthen the regional partner network.
You will work closely with international colleagues and supporting departments at HQ. In this role you will report to the Global Sales Director.
Your Tasks & Responsibilities
- Develop the Australian market by identifying and seizing new opportunities.
- Build long-term relationships with prospects, customers and distributors in the region.
- Determine the most strategic route-to-market and support customers and partners through training, coaching and joint customer visits.
- Create sustainable market growth through concept selling and tailored advisory services.
- Map market and competitive developments and translate these into concrete commercial actions and growth initiatives.
- Identify cross- and upselling opportunities and translate them into well-founded customer solutions.
- Lead commercial negotiations and contribute to framework agreements and contracts for the region.
- Calculate, follow up and finalise quotations in line with regional agreements and margin objectives.
- Build a high-quality pipeline and ensure accurate follow-up and registration via the CRM system.
- Cooperate closely with internal teams to efficiently coordinate projects.
- Frequently visit customers and partners in the region.
- Represent Boplan as a professional, reliable and solution-oriented commercial partner in Australia.
- Provide transparent and clear reporting on ongoing projects.
- Ensure correct administration relating to the above.
- Perform tasks and responsibilities associated with the position and its professional competencies.
Your Profile
- You hold a higher education degree with a commercial or technical focus and have solid experience in B2B sales.
- You have affinity with industrial environments (logistics, production, e‑commerce, transport, aviation, etc.) and understand how to create value in long-term trajectories.
- You are not afraid of pioneering work and are willing to manage every sales project from A to Z — from on-site measurements to quotation preparation and final delivery after installation.
- You have strong technical affinity and can support commercial proposals with technical insights.
- You have a hands-on mindset and can work in fast-changing environments with confidence and enthusiasm.
- You are communicative, culturally sensitive and can operate smoothly within various organisational and national cultures.
- You speak fluent English; knowledge of another regional language is a strong advantage.
- You are flexible and willing to travel intensively within the Australia region.
