About the Role
As Head of Secondary (Years 7–12), you will provide strategic, operational, and educational leadership across the Secondary School.
Reporting to the Principal and working as part of the Executive Leadership Team, you will:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Secondary School (Years 7–12)
- Oversee curriculum development, teaching quality, and student outcomes
- Drive a positive, inclusive, and high-performing school culture
- Mentor, develop, and support teaching staff to achieve excellence
- Collaborate with senior leadership to implement the school’s strategic vision
- Strengthen partnerships with families and the broader community
- Ensure compliance with NESA, child safety, and regulatory requirements
This role includes a teaching load of up to 0.5 (negotiable), depending on school needs and your area of expertise.
About You
We are seeking a confident, capable, and values-driven leader who brings:
- Proven experience in senior or executive educational leadership
- Strong expertise in curriculum leadership and academic delivery (Years 7–12)
- A recognised teaching qualification (bachelor’s degree or higher)
- Current NESA accreditation and valid Working with Children Check
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive improvement
- Strong working knowledge of ROSA, HSC, and regulatory frameworks
- Exceptional communication, organisation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- A calm, resilient, and solutions-focused leadership style
