Café Supervisor – Stellarossa Earlville (Full-Time Position)
Location: Earlville, Cairns
We are looking for an experienced Café Supervisor to join our friendly team at Stellarossa Earlville. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, leadership experience in a busy café environment, and the ability to deliver excellent customer service while leading by example.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Barista and Supervisor/Shift Leader in a café or similar environment
- Must be local (no Working Holiday Visa applicants)
- Strong coffee knowledge, including dial-in and latte art skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage a team and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand standards
- Availability for weekends and early morning shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily café operations and ensure smooth service
- Lead, motivate, and train team members to maintain high performance and morale
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso coffee and food items
- Manage opening and closing duties, including cash handling and reporting
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage wastage
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health standards
- Handle customer feedback professionally and ensure positive guest experiences
- Support the Café Manager in rostering, training, and day-to-day operations
