Reporting to the Head of Fulfilment & Last Mile Capability, you'll play a key role in helping Coles understand and optimise the economics of online fulfilment and customer delivery.
As Commercial Analyst, you'll help uncover the economics that sit behind every online order, using data to influence decisions across fulfilment, last mile delivery, capacity planning and network performance. Over time, you'll build deep expertise in an area where there are very few true specialists, helping shape the future of how Coles serves customers online.
Analyse fulfilment and delivery performance across productivity, order accuracy, availability, substitutions, service levels and customer outcomes.
Build insights into cost per order, margin and profitability across fulfilment channels, delivery models, customer segments and geographies.
Assess commercial and operational trade-offs across service levels, delivery speed, labour utilisation, network capacity and cost-to-serve.
Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, Technology and Customer Experience teams to identify improvement opportunities and support decision-making.
You're naturally curious and commercially minded, with a passion for understanding how businesses create value. You enjoy digging into data, identifying patterns and translating insights into practical actions that improve performance.
Experience in a Commercial Analyst, Operations Analyst, Supply Chain Analyst, Finance Analyst, eCommerce Analyst or similar analytical role.
Strong commercial acumen, with an ability to understand the relationship between revenue, cost, profitability and operational performance.
Experience in retail, eCommerce, supply chain, logistics, grocery, FMCG or delivery environments will be highly regarded.
Please note, applications will close on August 16th, 2026.
