About the position
The Technical Officer – Property and Building Services will coordinate a range of building services for Council’s operational and community buildings working closely with internal and community stakeholders. This includes programming building maintenance, services, and works, ensuring service levels are met. This role reports to the Manager Property and Building Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide external and internal customer service relating to building services for Council’s operational and community buildings
- Conduct periodic inspections of Council’s buildings and facilities, undertake risk assessments, and program required maintenance and works
- Provide technical reports including but not limited to internal executive reporting and council reports as requested by management
- Contribute to the development of asset management plans and ensure they are maintained efficiently
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures
- Assist in the development of operational and capital budgets
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent, with demonstrated relevant work experience.
- A current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence
- Demonstrated experience and/or capability to deliver the Job Specific Key Accountabilities (outlined in the Position Description).
- Demonstrated Developed key capabilities as defined in the Key Capabilities Table (outlined in the Position Description).

- Salary from $83,894 to $90,802 per year (depending on qualifications, skills and experience) plus 12% superannuation
