- Identify and generate new ICT business opportunities by researching and compiling lists of prospective clients using trade directories, databases, market reports, and other sources.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, pricing, and emerging technologies.
- Visit regular and prospective client businesses (in-person or virtually) to establish and act on selling opportunities.
- Assess customers’ current and future ICT needs and recommend suitable hardware, software, cloud solutions, cybersecurity services, digital transformation projects, or other ICT goods and services.
- Promote the organisation’s ICT products and services to existing and prospective clients through presentations, demonstrations, proposals, and negotiations.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
- Quote prices, negotiate contracts, credit terms, and service level agreements; complete sales contracts and record orders.
- Arrange delivery of goods, installation of equipment, and provision of associated services.
- Manage key customer accounts where required, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Prepare reports for sales management on sales performance, market conditions, and the marketability of ICT offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams (technical, marketing, product development) to align solutions with client requirements.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build relationships and generate leads.
Pay: $150,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year
