Senior Financial Reporting Analyst Business Partner

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst Business Partner to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager Corporate Reporting, this role plays an important part in supporting the business by delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, analysing business performance, and providing financial insights that assist leaders in making informed decisions. Through strong financial analysis, reconciliation and reporting, this position helps maintain the integrity of our financial information while contributing to continuous improvement across our finance function.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Prepare and maintain monthly financial reporting files and reporting templates

Roll forward standard monthly reporting templates and ensure reporting consistency across Board, Executive Leadership Team and General Manager reporting packs

Perform data integrity checks prior to management review

Maintain audit trails for reporting changes and documented assumptions

Process monthly corporate overhead data from source systems

Review supplier data to ensure completeness and accuracy

Analyse and recode corporate costs incorrectly allocated to clinics

Identify and investigate anomalies, missing supplier information and unusual financial variances

Perform reconciliations between financial source systems and reporting files

Investigate month-on-month financial variances and prepare supporting documentation

Prepare draft commentary and explanations for recurring or significant financial movements

Develop, maintain and improve process documentation to support standardised reporting practices and reduce key person dependency

Work collaboratively with Finance and business stakeholders to support accurate financial reporting and continuous process improvement

Comply with all company policies, procedures, and workplace health and safety requirements, including reporting hazards and incidents and following safe work practices
About you
You are an experienced finance professional with strong analytical and financial reporting capabilities. You have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working with complex financial data to produce accurate, timely and meaningful reports. You are confident partnering with stakeholders across the business, communicating financial information clearly, and investigating variances to support informed decision making. You are highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and deadlines, and take a proactive approach to improving processes and standardising reporting practices.
It is also essential that you bring:

A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline

A minimum of three to five years' experience in financial reporting, management reporting, financial analysis or a similar role

Strong analytical and financial reconciliation skills

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large data sets

Strong written and verbal communication skills
