What YOU WILL ACHIEVE
As a Retail Design Coordinator, you will support the delivery of consistent and engaging retail environments across our store network by assisting with brand design reviews, refining creative concepts, and coordinating the implementation of design initiatives. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure brand standards are maintained, projects remain on program, and store experiences align with the overall retail vision.
What YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE
You will collaborate closely with the Retail Design team to support the development and delivery of innovative in-store experiences across our network. Your day-to-day will involve preparing design reviews and approvals, and building strong relationships with Brand Partners.
Through strong organisation and attention to detail, you will help ensure projects progress smoothly and align with David Jones standards and business objectives.
What DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE
- Assisting in maintaining brand design guidelines to ensure alignment with David Jones strategy, customer experience principles, and commercial objectives.
- Supporting the delivery and coordination of brand design intent across the store network.
- Assisting with the preparation, review, and coordination of retail design and documentation packages for new stores and business initiatives.
- Helping maintain retail design standards, guidelines, and quality control processes across projects.
- Liaising with brand partners and suppliers to assist in delivering design outcomes that meet both brand and David Jones requirements.
- Coordinating design review processes and tracking project programs across refurbishments, rollouts, and retail initiatives.
- Supporting concept research, innovation, and creative development to enhance customer experience and evolving retail strategies.
- Assisting in ensuring design solutions are functional, scalable, compliant, and commercially effective.
- Contributing to continuous improvement across design processes, systems, and ways of working within the team.
