About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and energetic Event Host to join the team at Three Blue Ducks Rosebery.
This is a key front-of-house events role, responsible for delivering seamless guest experiences across functions, private events, and large group bookings. You’ll be the face of our events service on the floor - welcoming guests, coordinating event flow, and working closely with the FOH, bar, and kitchen teams to ensure every event runs smoothly from start to finish.
We’re after someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organised, and brings a calm, confident presence when managing multiple moving parts. You’ll take pride in delivering memorable events that feel effortless for guests but are tightly executed behind the scenes.
What you’ll be doing
Hosting and coordinating private events and functions
Welcoming and managing arrival experience for event guests
Supporting smooth service flow during events and group bookings
Working closely with the events, bar and kitchen teams
Managing event timing, seating plans and guest requirements
Ensuring high standards of service throughout all functions
Assisting with setup and pack-down of event spaces when required
What we’re looking for
Previous events, host or senior FOH experience preferred
RSA required
Weekend and evening availability essential
Strong communication and organisational skills required
Experience in functions or large bookings highly regarded
Strong communication and guest service skills
Calm, organised and confident under pressure
Ability to multitask across busy, high-volume services
Strong attention to detail and timing awareness
Team-focused and proactive approach
Genuine passion for hospitality and events
