The Opportunity
Wellness Department is looking for an experienced Accounts & Admin Assistant to support the smooth running of our Hurstville club. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone with a solid accounting background who enjoys owning the day-to-day finance function while also providing admin and personal assistant support to management.
Hours: 12–20 hours per week, flexible across multiple days shifts
Type: Part-time Location: Hurstville NSW 2220 (in person)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable end to end
- Process payroll, including superannuation
- Prepare and lodge BAS
- Reconcile accounts and produce weekly, monthly and annual financial reports
- Liaise with building contractors and coordinate maintenance-related communication
- Communicate with suppliers on invoicing, orders and account queries
- Provide general admin and personal assistant support to management as needed
About You
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
- Relevant accounting qualification (or working towards one)
- Confident with payroll, superannuation and BAS lodgement
- Proficient with accounting software (e.g. Xero or MYOB)
- Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Reliable, discreet and able to work independently
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English
- Current driver's licence
