Registered Nurse required for a growing Home Care Provider
We’re seeking an experienced Registered Nurse, motivated to make a change in the life of our community clients and set a new standard in aged and disability care.
At Comfort Home Care we are committed to providing compassionate care service to our consumers. You will be a team player with excellent communication skills who is able to liaise with consumers, there families, other Healthcare Professionals, Home Care staff and the Home Care Management Team.
What will be required:
You’ll provide person-centred care to your consumers in the community, ensuring a safe environment within their home and applying your clinical skills to improve consumers quality of life and independence. You’ll
- Assess, plan and implement client care
- Consider physical, social and psychological requirements
- Create and update care plans to reflect developing needs
- Ensure clinical quality compliance standards are met
- Work collaboratively with other multi-disciplinary team members
You will spend the majority of your day on the road, completing your scheduled community visits in Sydney's Western Suburbs, Southern Suburbs, Eastern Suburbs and Northern Suburbs, Central Coast and as the company grows, further travel locations maybe required.
Essential Criteria:
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Current Police Check
- 100 Points of ID
- Minimum of 2 years aged care and disability experience.
- Must have a car and comprehensive insurance
- Current Australian Driver's License
- Impeccable time management skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Exceptional documentation skills
- Able to use Microsoft (word, excel) and other software programs (training will be provided)
- Excellent clinical problem-solving skills
Shifts:
Day: Monday to Wednesday
Time: 8.00am to 4.00pm or 9-5pm
