About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our growing civil works team. This role is ideal for someone with strong sales experience in the construction, infrastructure, roadworks, or civil contracting industry.
Experience in asphalt, bitumen, road surfacing, paving, or related civil works will be highly regarded.
You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, preparing proposals, and helping grow our project pipeline across civil and infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities in civil works, asphalt, bitumen, roadworks, and related services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, developers, councils, and project managers
- Identify tender and project opportunities
- Prepare and follow up on quotes, proposals, and sales submissions
- Work closely with operations and estimating teams to ensure accurate pricing and project delivery
- Meet sales targets and contribute to business growth
- Maintain regular communication with existing clients to secure repeat business
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and upcoming civil construction projects
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management
- Experience in civil construction, asphalt, bitumen, roadworks, paving, or similar industries preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to understand client requirements and offer practical solutions
- Confidence in preparing quotes, proposals, and tender-related documentation
- A self-motivated attitude with a focus on achieving results
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Current driver’s licence preferred
