About the Team
NSW Fair Trading is responsible for the administration of property and consumer protection laws in NSW. The Fair Trading Digital team works collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders to provide the best digital solutions for our customers.
The Digital Products & Services Team for Fair Trading creates, enhances & delivers digital solutions ensuring a trusted & secure end-to-end digital experience to support our internal & external customers. Our people and ways of working are organised around working collaboratively with key stakeholders to provide the best digital solutions for our NSW Fair Trading Partners.
About the role

We are seeking a motivated and organised Project Officer to support the planning, coordination and delivery of a broad range of digital enhancements and new developments. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Business Analyst, Business Analysts and Fair Trading stakeholders to support the delivery of digital outcomes.
As a Project Officer, you will support the successful delivery of strategic and operational initiatives by providing administrative, coordination, reporting and stakeholder engagement support. You will work in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities and help teams achieve business objectives.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinate and support delivery of digital solutions for key stakeholder and our customers.
- Prepare and maintain related documentation and source and collate information for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to contribute to achievement of outcomes and identification of emerging issues.
- Administration support, develop and maintain customer & stakeholders' relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and issues management to ensure digital deliverables are met
- Monitor digital delivery activities, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Undertake research, analysis and reporting to support informed decision-making.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, working groups and stakeholder consultations.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate (required attributes):
Previous experience in a similar project role, digital role, or with similar responsibilities.
Strong initiative, attention to detail and ability to learn.
Ability to balance competing demands.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in a project context.
Experience applying NSW Government practices and standards and governance processes.
Salary Grade 7/8, with the base salary for this role starting at $116981 base plus superannuation
