PropRoo is a Melbourne-based real estate agency expanding its property services into Queensland. We are looking for a professional, reliable and well-presented Real Estate Inspection Officer / Open Home Representative to assist with scheduled property inspections and open homes in Brisbane and surrounding suburbs.
This is a flexible, appointment-based role that may suit someone looking to earn extra income outside of their regular day job. Many inspections can be arranged on weekends or outside standard business hours, depending on property campaign schedules and client availability.
The successful applicant will represent PropRoo professionally at property inspections, assist with property access, greet attendees, collect visitor details, provide inspection feedback, and communicate clearly with our Melbourne-based team.
This role may also provide exposure to real estate inspection processes, property presentation, tenancy-related inspections, client communication, realestate.com.au campaign tools, and general real estate administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend scheduled property inspections and open homes at agreed times
- Open and secure properties before and after inspections
- Greet attendees in a professional, friendly and confident manner
- Record visitor details where required
- Present yourself and the property professionally during inspections
- Follow inspection instructions provided by PropRoo
- Communicate with the PropRoo team before and after each appointment
- Provide attendance updates, visitor feedback and inspection notes
- Assist with basic property campaign and inspection administration
- Use real estate platforms and tools as directed by the company
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism and reliability at all times
Requirements
- Based in Brisbane or surrounding suburbs
- Reliable, punctual and available for scheduled inspections
- Availability for occasional weekend or after-hours inspections
- Professional presentation and strong communication skills
- Confident speaking with buyers, tenants, vendors and members of the public
- Able to follow instructions and report clearly to the team
- Own transport preferred
- Previous experience in real estate, sales, customer service, leasing, property management or inspections preferred
- QLD real estate salesperson registration or QLD real estate agent licence strongly preferred and may be required depending on duties

Engagement
This is an appointment-based role. The successful applicant will be required to enter into a written agreement with PropRoo before commencing work.
Inspection times will vary depending on property campaigns, client requirements and availability.
Ideal Candidate
This role may suit a registered real estate salesperson, licensed real estate agent, leasing assistant, property management assistant, sales associate, buyer’s agent assistant, or someone with strong customer service experience who is looking to gain practical experience in the Queensland real estate industry.
It may also suit someone who currently has a day job and is looking to earn extra money through flexible weekend or after-hours inspection appointments.
