Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join a collaborative and fast-paced environment. This role is central to ensuring smooth order processing and outstanding customer experience from initial order through to final delivery.
You will work closely with internal sales, warehouse, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure customer requirements are met accurately and efficiently. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, problem solving, and taking ownership of the customer journey.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is highly regarded and will be beneficial in managing customer orders, workflows, and system accuracy.
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently from receipt through to dispatch.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for customers and maintaining strong relationships.
- Liaising with the Sales Team to ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and fulfilled.
- Managing blanket forecasting and scheduled delivery arrangements.
- Preparing and processing sales orders and purchase orders for approval.
- Coordinating with warehouse teams to ensure timely picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Liaising with logistics providers regarding delivery schedules, tracking, and updates.
- Investigating and resolving customer issues including damaged, missing, or incorrect stock.
- Organising replacements, credits, or refunds with suppliers and stockists where required.
- Providing proactive communication to customers regarding order status, availability, and delays.
- Maintaining accurate records within ERP/CRM systems.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within customer service processes.

Your Profile

- Essential: previous experience in Customer Service, Internal Sales, Order Processing, or Customer Care roles.

- High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using ERP or CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics highly regarded).
- Proactive problem-solving approach with strong follow-through.
