Transcend Workforce is seeking a local Storeperson for an ongoing opportunity with a busy steel reinforcement supplier in Traralgon.
This is a great opportunity for someone with warehousing, forklift and gantry crane experience who is looking for a long term role. Potential to move to perm for the right candidate.
Monday to Friday | AM Shift | 6:30am – 3:00pm | $47.73 per hour
About the Role
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
- Receive incoming deliveries and check goods against documentation
- Pick and prepare steel products for customer orders
- Load and unload trucks
- Operate a forklift and overhead/gantry crane
- Assist with general warehouse and yard duties
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
About You
- Current forklift licence and experience
- Previous overhead crane experience is a bonus!
- Warehousing, steel or industrial experience preferred
- Good communication and customer service skills
- The ability to pass a full pre-employment medical assessment
- Full working rights in Australia
