Our client, Auraz, is seeking a full-time Hairdresser to join their team, with a salary range of $75,000 to $85,000 per annum plus superannuation. This opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about hairdressing and eager to work in a professional and client-focused environment.
Located in Tarneit, Victoria 3029, Auraz is a hair, beauty, and barber establishment providing a range of hairdressing, beauty, and grooming services to its clients. With a team of skilled professionals, Auraz is committed to providing quality services and a positive experience for its clients.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Consulting with clients and providing advice on suitable hairstyles, hair care and appropriate beauty products.
- Washing and shampooing clients’ hair and applying conditioning treatments to the hair and scalp.
- Colouring, straightening and permanently waving hair using appropriate chemical treatments and solutions.
- Cutting, trimming and shaping hair using scissors, clippers, razors and other hairdressing tools.
- Styling hair into dreadlocks and braids and fitting hair extensions according to client preferences.
- Shaving, trimming and shaping beards and moustaches to achieve the client’s preferred style.
- Maintaining clean and hygienic work areas and properly cleaning and sanitising hairdressing instruments and equipment.
- Arranging client appointments and collecting and processing payments for services provided.
- Cleaning, colouring, cutting and styling wigs and hairpieces when required.
- Blow-drying, setting and styling hair to achieve the client’s desired hairstyle and finish.
- Assessing clients’ hair and scalp condition and recommending suitable hair care and conditioning treatments.
- Preparing and applying appropriate hair products and treatments as part of hair cutting, colouring and styling services.
Qualifications:
· Must possess Certificate III in Hairdressing.
· Must have three (3) years of relevant work experience as a Hairdresser in an Australian setting.
Note: Australian Citizens and permanent residents are preferred.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
