Cook / CHEF REQUIRED FOR A SMALL FAMILY OWNED & MANAGED REGIONAL HOTEL

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and reliable person to support our Head Chef at one of our Kalgoorlie hotels. Our restaurant requires a person dedicated to providing excellent product and service. The candidate will be efficient, cost and time productive, and work well within a team environment. Experience cooking pub style meals would be an advantage.
Duties will include:
- Following instructions from Head Chef;
- Ensuring that kitchen production and presentation is excellent quality at all times;
- Ensuring that all work space is correctly prepared prior to commencement of service;
- Coordinate take away food orders
- Ensuring kitchen and back areas are thoroughly clean at all times;
- Maintaining personal presentation and behaviour to leave a good impression on customers and other staff members.
- Attending the daily kitchen briefings.
Skills & Experience
Mandatory skills and experience will include:
- Experience in a similar role.
- experience in pub style food preferred but not essential.
- Natural ability to work within a team environment.
- Completion of a culinary certificate at an accredited cookery establishment within Australia or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
