About the role
Join SA Medical Imaging as a Shift Senior Radiographer and play a key role in delivering timely, high-quality imaging services within the fast-paced Emergency and Theatre environments at Flinders Medical Centre. Using advanced imaging technology and professional expertise, you will perform complex diagnostic procedures, support critical clinical decision-making and contribute directly to patient diagnosis, treatment and care.
This rewarding role combines advanced clinical practice with team leadership and operational coordination. You will supervise a small team of radiographers, manage workflows and priorities across shift operations, and support a culture of quality, safety and continuous improvement. As a multi-skilled practitioner, you will also have the opportunity to work across a range of imaging specialties, applying your expertise in a dynamic and collaborative healthcare setting.
About You
You are an experienced radiographer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and combines advanced clinical skills with strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Registered Radiographer with radiation licence and postgrad imaging qualification
- Lead imaging services in Emergency and Theatre settings
- Perform complex procedures with confidence and autonomy
- Support quality improvement, safety and team development
- Build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams
