About the Role
You will provide one-on-one support to NDIS participants living throughout Adelaide's southern suburbs.
Supports may include:
- Personal care
- Community access and social support
- Meal planning and cooking
- Domestic assistance
- Medication assistance (where qualified)
- Transport to appointments
- Skill development and capacity building
- Supporting participants to achieve their NDIS goals
- Supporting participants with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, Psychosocial Disabilities and Mental Health
- Accurate progress notes and documentation
No two days are ever the same, and every shift is an opportunity to improve someone's quality of life.
Applicants must have:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- National Police Check
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Full Australian Driver Licence
- Reliable, registered and insured vehicle
- Smartphone for rosters and documentation
- Full Australian working rights
Highly Regarded
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or Community Services
- Medication Administration Certificate
- Experience supporting participants with Autism
- Experience supporting participants with complex behaviours
- Mental Health experience
