JOB TITLE: Electrical Engineer

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Concept and detailed electrical power systems designs
· Electrical Power Network modelling and studies
· Renewable energy systems planning
· Commissioning testing supervision
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Essential:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering; certified by Engineers Australia
· 3+ years of experience in similar roles
· Experience interpreting specifications, drawings, standards and regulations relating to electric power equipment and use
· Experience in Power systems modelling,
· Experience in either Power Generation, Power Transmission, Distribution and/or Traction.
Desirable:
· Experience in design (studies, drawings and specifications) of electrical power systems
· Experience determining arrangements of circuits, transformers, circuit-breakers, transmission lines and other equipment
· Experience in telemetry and control systems
· Experience supervising commissioning, operation or maintenance of electrical power systems
· Experience organizing and managing resources

· Excellent problem-solving skills
· Good verbal and written communication
· Organized and able to meet deadlines.
· Skills to co-ordinate design meetings, and work within a client environment alongside other subject matter experts;
