BackpackerCars Australia is seeking a Full-time Automotive Mechanic/Technician to join
our young and professional team.
BackpackerCars Australia specializes in building vehicles to travel around Australia we are looking to expand our team with another mechanic in our workshop.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify and fix mechanical and electrical issues in
engines and components of vehicles.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems such as sensors, ECU, lightning, central locking,
etc.
- Dismantle engine assemblies, transmissions, steering systems, and other parts for
repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance services like oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks
and engine tune-ups to ensure smooth vehicle operation and compliance with
pollution regulations.
- Replace worn and faulty parts, following service manuals as needed.
- Diagnostic skills.
