Fernbrooke State School opened in 2017. Since its opening, our school has developed a positive reputation within the local and broader community. There is a strong focus on providing the students with a rich schooling experience where they will engage in learning experiences aligned with the Australian Curriculum and have opportunities to develop their social skills so that they can contribute to their local community now and in the future.

Your opportunity:
Financial Management - Provide effective financial management and advice to the Principal and school leadership team, ensuring school resources are allocated responsibly and in accordance with legislation, departmental policy and operational plans.
Facilities and Asset Management - Coordinate facilities, asset and property management, providing strategic advice to the Principal and school leadership team. Work collaboratively with third-party facilities managers and service providers to ensure facilities are maintained, safe, fit for purpose and responsive to school needs.
Student and Staff Interactions - Lead and support effective administrative processes, including enrolments, staff and community enquiries, student administration and relief staffing. Work collaboratively with the Principal and leadership team to utilise available resources to address the diverse needs of students.
Health, Safety and Wellbeing - Coordinate and monitor workplace health, safety and wellbeing practices, including risk management, incident reporting, preventative measures and injured-worker support.
Information Technology - Coordinate access to and management of school information technology, hardware, software and digital resources.
Accountability - Ensure school operations comply with legislation, departmental policies, standards and procedures, supporting the Principal with audits and compliance requirements.
Reporting - Oversee accurate recordkeeping, data management, analysis and reporting to support informed school management and decision-making align to DoE requirements.
Code of Behaviour - Maintain professional, respectful and confidential relationships with students, staff and families, complying with the Code of Conduct and privacy legislation.
