As a Senior Geotechnician you will:
- Oversee and provide site supervision for construction projects, ensuring strict adherence to quality control and assurance standards. The role is mainly a site-based role across multiple sites.
- Undertake site activities including earthworks supervision (Level 1), supervise labour, equipment, and materials, and maintain rigorous safety and quality records.
- Collaborate with project teams, communicate progress to managers, and contribute to project success.
- Comply with role specific SHEQ obligations.
- Lead and foster a good safety culture to ensure the safety and well-being of all staff within the team.
- Foster an engaged and high performing workforce, with a focus on mentoring, training, and development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues from all parts of the WSP business.
- Ensure compliance with all corporate governance, business system, quality and risk management obligations.
- Provide input on multiple projects of varying complexity and size.
Seek information to understand client needs and effectively anticipate and meet client needs including coordination with other disciplines.
