Your New Role
CV Infrastructure Services is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead the delivery of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) projects across South East Queensland.
Based in Brisbane, this permanent role will see you overseeing the construction, maintenance and upgrade of traffic signals , road lighting and intelligent transport systems (ITS) infrastructure. Working closely with Project Managers, you will lead field teams, coordinate subcontractors and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
You'll be a visible and proactive leader on site, responsible for driving productivity, maintaining stakeholder relationships and ensuring compliance with all project and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising day-to-day delivery of traffic signals and TMR infrastructure projects
- Leading electrical crews across multiple active work sites
- Coordinating labour, materials, plant and subcontractors
- Ensuring works comply with TMR, client and regulatory requirements
- Managing project quality assurance, testing and commissioning activities
- Supporting road lighting, ITS and traffic signal installations and upgrades
- Identifying and resolving site issues to maintain project schedules
- Mentoring apprentices and developing field staff
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, project stakeholders and authorities
Promoting a strong safety culture across all project activities

What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Unrestricted QLD Electrical Workers Licence
- Current manual driver's licence
- Proven experience in electrical construction or infrastructure projects
- Proven experience leading crews and supervising field-based teams
- Strong understanding of safety, quality and project delivery requirements
Excellent planning, communication and leadership skills

Highly regarded:
- Experience delivering TMR traffic signal projects
- Traffic signal installation, maintenance and commissioning experience
- TMR road lighting experience, including Rate 3 lighting
- Experience working within live road corridor environments
- Exposure to ITS, vehicle detection and communications infrastructure
- Energex and Ergon network experience
- LV switching and fault-finding experience
Knowledge of TMR specifications, standards and project requirements
