The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store and fuel station to ensure efficient performance, excellent customer service, operational compliance, and profitability. The role involves managing staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring workplace safety, and upholding company standards in line with operational policies and Australian regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily store and fuel station operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure smooth business continuity.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, rostering, supervision, and performance monitoring of store staff to maintain a productive and customer-focused team.
- Deliver and maintain high standards of customer service, professionally resolving customer complaints and enquiries.
- Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and coordinate timely ordering of products to ensure product availability and minimise stock shortages.
- Ensure store presentation, cleanliness, merchandising, and operational standards are maintained in accordance with company requirements and brand expectations.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, operational procedures, and company policies.
- Maintain food handling procedures in accordance with Australian food safety standards and hygiene compliance requirements.
- Monitor sales performance and contribute to store profitability through effective operational, stock, and inventory management strategies.
- Manage cash handling, daily banking, reconciliation of sales records, and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Conduct regular staff meetings, provide operational guidance, and implement continuous improvements to store processes and performance.
- Prepare and maintain reports related to sales, staffing, inventory control, and overall store performance.
- Liaise with suppliers and head office to support smooth supply chain operations and maintain stock availability.
- Monitor fuel station operational procedures and ensure compliance with fuel handling, environmental, and safety regulations.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
