Together, Questas Group provides our SA customers with a comprehensive solution across hydraulics, fluid power, components, tooling and equipment.
This is a newly created external sales role, designed to promote the Questas Group offerings. Based in Adelaide, you’ll manage an existing account base while actively hunting new business across the region. If you’re energised by variety, technical selling and building something from scratch, this is a genuinely exciting opportunity.
- Manage and grow an allocated customer base across SA.
- Actively generate new business, identify leads, convert prospects, and expand the customer base across SA
- Prepare and present technically accurate, commercially sound quotes tailored to customer needs.
- Build and execute structured call plans and account development plans.
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers and understand their buying criteria and objectives.
- Gather and share market intelligence on competitors, pricing, capacity and industry trends.
- Record activity in the CRM and contribute to monthly sales forecasting.
- Participate in sales meetings, marketing events and other business activities as required.
We’re looking for someone passionate about the industries we serve. You may currently be in a sales or technical role within hydraulics, fluid power, mining services, industrial distribution, or a related field:
- 3-5 years’ experience in technical sales, external sales or technical support with a sales component.
- Genuine understanding of the markets we work in - hydraulics, mining, oil and gas, defence, manufacturing, maintenance, repair, or component supply.
- Demonstrated ability to develop new business and manage existing accounts.
- Self-motivated and well-organised.
- Team player with a positive, flexible attitude and strong interpersonal skills
Desirable but not essential:
- Trade qualification or TAFE/university study in mechanical fitting or a related discipline.
- Experience with CRM systems and structured sales reporting.
- A strong understanding of the SA industrial or mining market.
