Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to join our Perth team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a fast-paced laboratory environment and takes pride in maintaining quality, safety and accuracy in everything they do.
Responsibilities include however, not limited to:

Perform wet chemistry analysis of geochemical samples in accordance with established procedures

Ensure the quality and integrity of samples throughout all stages of preparation and analysis

Meet daily production targets while maintaining high standards of accuracy
-
Carry out all laboratory functions in the correct numerical order as per standard operating procedures

Follow strict quality control (QC) requirements and implement practices to avoid contamination
-
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and consistently
-
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:

Certificate III in Laboratory Skills (preferred, but not essential)

Previous laboratory experience (highly regarded but not required)

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately

Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and meet deadlines
-
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

Good communication and organisational skills
