SA Fasteners Engineers is a well-established South Australian manufacturer specialising in the production of industrial fasteners. We are currently seeking a Fitter, Turner or Mechanical Technician to join our team maintaining and working on specialised machinery used in fastener manufacturing.
We are also open to apprentices or mechanically minded people looking to start an apprenticeship.
The Role
- Maintain and repair manufacturing machinery
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and breakdowns
- Assist with machine setup and adjustments
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Work with the production team to keep machines running efficiently
About You
- Trade qualified Fitter & Turner / Mechanical Fitter, OR relevant mechanical experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Experience with manufacturing machinery (preferred but not essential)
- Reliable, hands-on and able to work in a team
