The Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate, reliable and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our Asquith team.
This is a part-time role working 4 long days per week, ideal for an educator who is looking for a compressed working week while still being part of a stable, supportive and high-quality early learning environment.
The successful applicant will have at least 1 year of experience working in an early childhood education and care setting, such as long day care, preschool, childcare or an early learning centre.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of engaging educational programs aligned with the EYLF
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and educators
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
- Work collaboratively with an experienced and supportive team
- Support daily routines, transitions, supervision and children’s wellbeing
- Contribute to compliance with the National Quality Framework and centre policies and procedures
- Support the centre’s child safe culture by following child protection, supervision, reporting and code of conduct requirements
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Minimum 1 year experience working in early childhood education and care
- Current NSW Working With Children Check
- Sound knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Framework
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and care
- Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills
- Reliability, professionalism and a positive attitude
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and education
- Demonstrated commitment to child safety, professional boundaries and respectful interactions with children
