Your Days Will Look Like:
- Developing accurate cost estimates for a variety of high-end landscape construction projects.
- Reading and interpreting landscape designs, breaking down materials, labour, and equipment requirements.
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to source pricing and ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Preparing tender submissions, project budgets, and reviewing contracts.
- Collaborating closely with the project team to ensure we deliver projects profitably and on schedule.
- Keeping a close eye on market trends and ensuring we’re staying competitive with our quotes.
- Drafting and coordinating smooth project handovers to office and operational teams.
What You Bring to the Table:
- At least 2 years of experience in landscape construction estimating or a similar role.
- Proficient in reading landscape plans and design documents.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a natural ability to juggle multiple projects.
- An understanding of the landscape industry, construction methodologies, and associated costs.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills—you build great relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- A forward-thinker who can spot potential risks and opportunities within a project.
