Job Description
Magellan is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse & Dispatch Operator to join our production team. This is a hands-on role supporting dispatch, warehousing, and general production activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Pack and book equipment for dispatch accurately and on time
- Safely load and unload deliveries in accordance with handling procedures
- Store and retrieve items from racking systems using safe work practices
- Maintain a clean and organised production and warehouse area
- Assist with the preparation and upkeep of the production facility and factory areas
- Ensure tools and vehicles are clean, well maintained, and compliant with company standards
- Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies, including forklift operating guidelines
- Provide support to Electrical Assemblers and the Production Team as required
- Perform other warehouse and transport-related duties as directed by the Production Manager
Skills, Experience & Requirements
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or dispatch
- Current Forklift Licence is highly desirable. If you do not currently hold a forklift licence but are otherwise a strong candidate, we can provide forklift training and support you in obtaining your licence.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
- Basic computer skills for booking and dispatch entries
- Valid driver's licence (preferred)
- Strong understanding of safe work practices and OHS procedures
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
